IV Drip Therapy
Often considered a cosmetic/aesthetic procedure; Vitamin drip therapy has many well-established benefits. Due to our very busy lifestyles, filled with the consumption of ultra processed foods, our bodies are starved of the nutrients, vitamins and minerals which it craves. As a result, we experience brain fog, fatigue, apathy, depression, chronic headaches, skin outbreaks and weight issues just to name a few. Chronic Disease Management
Dr Noordien is trained in the managing all chronic diseases at a primary health care level, those patients who warrant referral to specialists will be assisted to do so. The aim of Dr Noordien’s chronic disease management programme is to educate her patients sufficiently about the aetiology (causes) of the illnesses and to then to provide them with a step-by-step guide on how to strengthen the body from within with the aim of reducing the need for repetitive chronic prescriptions.
She prescribes allopathic treatments as and when required, for a limited period but also promotes the use of natural products/superfoods which accelerate the body’s own regenerative capacity. This combination of treatment, backed by scientific evidence, results in the body’s ability to reverse these chronic diseases and her patients end up on little or no chronic medication at all.

At Tree of Health Medical Practice, Dr Noordien has created a relaxing, safe and comfortable environment where she is able to address the needs of women in a very holistic manner. Being a busy woman and mother of four young children herself, she understands how women often neglect their own health needs in favour of the family. Here Dr Noordien prioritises women;s health needs to ensure that the “engine rooms” of our households are able to function optimally in order to continue nurturing the ones in their care.
We offer Papsmear’s, Breast examination, wellness checks including blood pressure testing, glucose testing, Cholesterol tests, haemoglobin tests, pregnancy testing a variety of Vitamin drip cocktails to address women’s needs specifically. Dr Noordien is also able to manage common conditions affecting women like dysmenorrhea, PCOS, abnormal uterine bleeding and even early pregnancies less than 12 weeks. Any specialist referrals that are required will be done on the day.

Phlebotomy/Lab specimens
Linked to Pathcare laboratory, Dr Noordien is able to draw your blood samples or perform Papsmears, take wound swabs/throat swabs or send off urine/stool samples all from the comfort of her rooms, providing a one stop service with no need for an additional visit to the laboratory.

Minor surgical procedures
Dr Noordien offers in house minor procedures such as incision and drainage of abscesses, ear syringing, knee aspirations, removal of foreign bodies, wound care/debridements, pleural taps and suturing minor lacerations etc. Please note prior to all procedures, Dr Noordien conducts a thorough assessment and if it is deemed unsafe or more extensive work will be required Dr Noordien will refer you to the relevant speciality for further definitive assistance.

Clinical Forensics
In late 2017 Dr Noordien received training in clinical forensics and soon thereafter she was part of the after-hours team at Karl Bremmer Thuthuzela Care Centre as well as Victoria Hospital Thuthuzela Care Centre. There she was responsible for the acute services offered to survivors of Gender Based Violence (GBV), including adults and children.
Over the years Dr Noordien has acquired the softer skills required to manage the delicate patients’ needs who have been subjected to such traumatic events.
Relying on all this experience Dr Noordien is now able to cater to the needs of those women/children/men who have been affected by GBV. We offer prophylactic medical treatment and can fast track referral to a Thuthuzela Centre where the remaining treatment will be provided. Alternatively, those examinations and treatments can be conducted and issued at Tree of Health Medical Practice.
Dr Noordien also completes J88 forms can conduct a forensic medical examination.

Please note that all these services are freely available at Thuthuzela Care Centres, a consultation fee will be charged at Tree of Health Medical Practice due to the length and complexity of doing these consults in private.

General Wellness Checks
Whether you are a woman who needs an annual papsmear or routine blood tests or a man who needs a prostate examination or cholesterol/blood pressure/glucose checks, or a baby who needs weight/growth assessments, we are able to assist you in a private and comfortable environment. General wellness checks often take a bit longer due to the wide variety of tests which are normally performed, and Dr Noordien conducts a full medical examination from top to toe.
